Top Level Custom Module URL

Hey Treepl team, wondering what the timeline is for when we will be able to use the Custom Module URL… i.e. if we create a ‘Careers’ Custom Module, and our url is for example: https://mysite.com/careers

At the moment we can’t use /careers as a top level page as it is delivers a 404 Page Not Found. In Content / Blogs for example, we can use/edit the top level URL.

Let me know what the timeline for this is. This was a feature in BC, and I’ve been having to work around not being able to achieve this in Treepl.

Thanks,
Aaron

Isn’t this coming in the current release with the advanced url manager? Or have I misunderstood that one…

Hey @Adam.Wilson that is what I thought as well… but it doesn’t appear to be working (at least for me).

This will be in the next sprint, we’ll post more details in Slack later today

FYI: Advanced URL Manager has now been split into 2 Public Backlog items
Part 1:
https://treepl.co/public-backlog-state/scheduled/advanced-url-management-part-1
Part 2:
https://treepl.co/public-backlog-state/request/advanced-url-management-part-2

You now need to vote again, separately for part 2.

Hi Treepl team,
Can we please have an update on Advanced URL Management Part 1 progress and a revised, realistic estimate for delivery date?
I need some indication so I can plan my workload around release of this feature.
thanks,
Reagan

According to slack, Vlad has advised that this is now postponed till tommorrow. (v4.9)

We’ve made a decision to postpone the delivery of a 4.9 version to Tuesday. This will allow us to make more thorough testing of the Advanced URL Management functionality.
Thanks for understanding.
