Applying Event Groups to Events

I think I’m missing something as I’m unable to apply an Event Group (ParentID) and there isn’t anything in Documentation. Are events still in beta?

Not sure I fully understand, but if it’s creating Event Groups in the admin, switch to tree view and you then see the options:
