There is currently no way to keep a shipping item listed in the CMS but not running - you have to totally delete it and then if you want to activate it again it needs to be added from scratch.
Often clients have specials or sales on and have ‘free shipping’ or shipping specials available on their site and it would be great to be able to ‘disable’ any current shipping items setup so that the new ones can be running and visa versa.
Hi @SiroccoDigital. As a workaround, you could set one of the shipping limitations/rules to a value that will never apply, so the shipping option will never display.
For example, set the “Show Shipping Option to” rule to have ‘Consumer’ and ‘Wholesaler’ unchecked. Or the “Order Price Limitation” to ‘999999999’ for example.
But yes, an ‘Enabled’ option would be more intuitive as an enhancement so perhaps we recategorise this post to the backlog channel?
