eCommerce Product Restrictions on Treepl?

Will Treepl have restriction on the types of products that can be sold on Treepl CMS? Or will that be controlled by the payment processor and country laws. For example on shopify you can sell CBD in the US but you can’t use Shopify payments as the payments processor. You need to use Authorize.net. Will Treepl have the same restrictions and if so will those be posted.

On another note would it be a good idea to start a new category for eCommerce questions? I would imagine there will be many questions when eCommerce launches next week.

Great idea regarding the eCommerce category!
Now setup here: #cms-ecommerce

Great topic of discussion. With respect to Shopify, it is Shopify Payments which is run through Stripe, which has issue with some restricted chemical products and of course CBD/THC products. We had to use Moneris for a client of ours in Canada for this case. So this being said, it looks like Stripe has some issues with some products (as mentioned above) so hopefully there will be more payment gateway availability in Treepl other than Eway, Stripe and Authorize.net
