I know the new tax rounding has been implemented but my client has had an order go through that has given a .01 result for 2 x products - https://www.screencast.com/t/SQxHr6wn. The tax rounding logic used is 304,55 * 2 = 609,1 *1,1 = 670,01 sharp (so there’s nothing to round).
And then, if you look at setting up a product that needs to be $19.95 with GST and then you would add it to the product as $18.14 and it will display correctly. But, if you order 2 x products at $19.95 it becomes $39.91 and if you want 3 x products at $19.95 it becomes $59.86 and is no longer a whole number. My clients want it so that if the amount is $19.95 then it stays this amount no matter the quantity, not change if you order 2 or more.
They have used BC logic for the rounding but it is still causing issues like this. We’d like to hear other partners’ opinions to see if we can find a way to clean up the issue with purchasing multiples.
