Unstable treepl.co & Docs site - Site Down

2 days in a row now (that I have noticed). This site keeps going down.

https://treepl.co/
https://treepl.co/documentation

And the status page is linked to the server so its also inaccessible.

https://treepl.co/status

I hate being the guy that always posts stuff on slack or forum but if no one says anything the devs wont know that it keeps going down.

Our team are in and out of the docs site all day learning references to module etc. I need this to have a better up time.

Not trying to rock the boat just need it to be stable

We’re looking for the cause of this issue. Ironically, it seems to be implementation error. Also, you can access documentation by a direct link https://docs.treepl.co It’s a separate site from treepl.co so shouldn’t be affected if treepl.co is unavailable.

I can confirm this as gone down just now ( https://docs.treepl.co/ ). As can @Alex_B_Centrifuge (see slack chat.)
Again not trying to rock the boat, But you guys need to know that this keeps dropping out.

Current Time:

Can confirm https://treepl.co/documentation and https://docs.treepl.co/ are both not loading for me.

Treepl.co is down again

http://docs.treepl.co has been down for the entire work day as well. :pensive:

@alex.n any update?

We’ve been working to solve this for several hours. It is now priority #1 for the entire team. Apparently, the issue is not caused by implementation as we thought originally. Will keep you posted.

We’ve determined the cause to be malicious activity targeting both treepl.co and docs.treepl.co, which have caused poor performance of both sites in the last 48 hours. No live or trial sites were effected, only treepl.co and docs.treepl.co.

We’ll investigate further and give you an update if we find anything relevant to share.

During the next several hours we will apply safety measures to prevent these activities (some measures are already in place) and stabilize the performance of both sites. We’re also going to evaluate what measures can be put in place for all Treepl sites to prevent such issues.

Thanks Aleksey. Sites are both back up for me now. “malicious activity” sounds nefarious.
